Participant represents that they are in sufficient physical and mental health to participate in the Retreat and its activities. Participant agrees to disclose in the form below any injuries, medical conditions, allergies, dietary needs, pregnancy, mental health conditions, or medications relevant to their safe participation. Participant understands that Sedona sits at elevation and that August conditions can include high heat and sun exposure, and agrees to hydrate, rest, and self-regulate accordingly. Participant understands that yoga, breathwork, and related practices are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed physician, and that Instructor is not a medical professional.
Participation in every class, session, activity, and excursion is voluntary and at Participant's own free will and discretion. Participant will never be forced to participate. Should Participant choose not to participate in any session or activity, there is no refund or credit for that session or activity.
a. Participant acknowledges that travel and retreat participation bear inherent risks that cannot be eliminated by VIVARA Events and that are part of the experience. These include, without limitation: physical activity and yoga; breathwork; walking or hiking on uneven, natural, or red-rock terrain; elevation and heat; sun exposure; seasonal weather including monsoon rain and flash flooding; use of the pool and hot tub; sound healing and exposure to sound and vibration; aromatherapy and essential oils; contact with wildlife, insects, or plants; and the standards, conditions, and service of third-party properties and vendors. Participant accepts responsibility for their own safety and welfare and accepts all such risks, including risks not specifically listed here.
b. Participant acknowledges they alone are responsible for their choices, actions, and results during and after the Retreat, and accepts full responsibility for the consequences of their use or non-use of any information provided by Instructor. Participant agrees to use their own judgment and due diligence and understands there can be no guarantee as to any outcome or result.
In consideration of Instructor inviting Participant to the Retreat and accepting their reservation, Participant agrees to release, forever discharge, and hold harmless Instructor and its employees, agents, teachers, independent contractors, facilitators, and other representatives, and their heirs, successors, and assigns ("Released Parties"), from liability for any and all Claims relating to or caused by Participant's attendance at and participation in the Retreat and in any additional activities or excursions Participant may engage in, unless caused by the gross negligence or intentional wrongful act of Instructor. "Claims" includes any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, damages, rights of action, and causes of action of any kind, now existing or arising in the future, arising out of personal injury, illness, death, loss, or damages of any kind, whether known or unknown and foreseen or unforeseen, relating to or caused by Participant's participation in the Retreat. Participant agrees this waiver and release is legally binding upon them and their family, estate, heirs, successors, and assigns. Participant acknowledges that operational control of the Venue rests in large part with the third-party property, that any cause of action regarding the Venue's shortcomings would be against that property and not the Instructor, and that Instructor is not responsible for the safekeeping of Participant's personal property.
Participant provides this additional waiver and release for the practice of Yoga at the Retreat. Participant acknowledges that Yoga involves physical movement and can be physically and mentally challenging and therefore bears risk of injury, illness, disability, or death. Participant accepts all such risks and assumes full responsibility for any injury, illness, or damage caused by their participation in Yoga. If Participant experiences pain or significant discomfort, they agree to honor their body, discontinue the activity, notify Instructor, and seek medical attention. Participant understands their participation in each class and each pose is voluntary and at their own risk, and that Instructor is not a licensed physician and has no duty to provide medical advice or care, including CPR. Participant understands that Instructor may offer hands-on physical assistance and that it is Participant's responsibility to inform Instructor before each class if they do not wish to be touched or assisted. Participant agrees to release, forever discharge, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all Claims relating to or caused by Participant's participation in Yoga, unless caused by the gross negligence or intentional wrongful act of Instructor, on the same terms defined above.

VIVARA Events is not liable for failure to perform, or for changes to the Retreat, due to events beyond its reasonable control, including weather, natural disaster, flooding, fire, illness or public-health events, acts of government, or Venue or vendor failure. In such events VIVARA Events will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or adjust the Retreat.
The confidentiality of each client is of utmost importance to VIVARA Events. Each client agrees to keep fellow participants' stories, experiences, and information confidential, and not to share anything that would identify another participant. VIVARA Events does its best to protect confidentiality but is not liable for ensuring it. You share and participate at your own free will.
